The kinds of light that cast a shadow, Shine
and great seasons dance with a clarity
that chimes in resonance beyond the distant breeze
They spin and flicker not on the snowflake, but
on a seed, Enthusiasm captures the forest.
Oceans cry out beneath the waves to
welcome the courage shinning bright
Shimmering amongst the clouds onto the sea and sand
The fresh air of spring surrounds Each
sweet drop of torrential rain, expressing
the potency of a new afternoon
Cool as the shade, warm as the sun.
Before morning awakens the sky
blades of grass stand idle, and listen
to the gracious night that never smiles
But teaches the trees and what they hide
Lessons of emotion, and shares their feelings
With the passing snail. Glad to whisper to the lazy frog.
