Beholding Salad

With love for the smell of lavender and cinnamon,
smile, breathe with the breeze 
calm and kind as your eyes
play like lilac on raindrops

Although our hearts hurt
cooling spray around the sea in our souls
can take our tears away
and rest on our shoulders
like light
